Kristofer Sampson

Producer/mixer/engineer Kristofer Sampson owns and operates Sampson Sound, a recording studio in East Atlanta. The studio logo features a rotated “S” in the negative space and the design visualizes the recording process ending with a completed vinyl record.
Kristofer also produces the Sampson Saturdays web series, which showcases Atlanta artists performing live in various local spaces. The logo is based on the studio logo but inverted and animated in reverse, symbolizing the record being completed then branching out even further.
Outside of music, Kristofer moonlights as a photographer and photo assist. His Sampson Sights logo borrows design cues from the studio logo and re-imagines it with subtle visual reference to the aperture blades of a camera.
